Long Neck Tribe Photoshoot Journey
Since We certainly decided to deviate from ordinary styles of product photos to offer you comprehensive and different shopping experience, we wanted to embellish our website with the taste of fine arts, the visual storytelling lifestyle photographs.

Our first collection’s woman sunglasses’ photoshoot journey took place in the north of Thailand, beautiful mountainous cities Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, during the year of 2022.
It was an exciting experience to work together with French photographer Alex De Blonay and collaborating with traditional hill tribes’ farmers. We have worked with Long Necks, Kariang, La Hoo and Dara Ang tribes for our woman sunglasses collection, despite the controversial opinions.
As a result of this remarkable journey ; our photographs are both the witness of the joy of their experience and the proof of the elegance of our products that remains on each and every faces.

We focused if each party is adequately represented and recognized while applying this different style of cultural collaboration. Mutual respect, consent and contribution has been the key of our good communication.

Meanwhile We had chance to hear their cultural stories from the first hand to transfer to you while We were experiencing the beauty of diversity during our creative interpretation. And their enthusiasm through the process also made us very happy that we gave them an unusual excitement on this occasion.

In other words, girls who want to go to school are exempt from wearing rings. So They are not faced with a compulsion, they have the right to choose.

Long Necks of Northern Thailand (also called Kayan Tribes) is community of displaced ethnic minorities of Tibeto-Burman origins, who originally fled strife and persecution in neighboring Myanmar in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
We ensured each party is adequately represented and recognized while applying this different style of cultural collaboration.

According to our tribal friend Mali, they are happy and proud to continue their ancestral tradition with the rings that they add to their necks every 2 years starting from the age of 4 and that they never remove, except for the ceremonies for adding a new one.
If they don't want to wear rings, they have to go to school. Or, In other words, girls who want to go to school are exempt from wearing rings. So They are not faced with a compulsion, they have the right to choose.
